Olaiya’s Cradle serves women 18-24 who have gone through domestic abuse situations and offers transitional housing. Olaiya’s Cradle needed support in optimization current program offerings for targetted support of residents.

What was the goal of this project?
To create a deliverable that deepens the understanding of how Olaiya’s Cradle clients experience the program, identifying positive moments and areas of improvement throughout the journey.
What is Capital One Pro Bono?
Capital One Design Pro Bono allows Design associates to help drive social change in their communities. Over 10 weeks, associates commit their time and expertise to build a concrete deliverable to help our partnered non-profit organizations serve more beneficiaries, become more efficient, and deliver on their mission more efficiently.

Key Learnings
I had the chance to flex in multiple design roles. I played a crucial role in getting alignment across the team through service blueprints and handling research-related tasks. I also learned the importance of relying on both a cross-functional team and cross-functional skills to get a project completed and to the satisfaction of our client.
