I admit that I am pretty much a child at heart. Admittedly, that also means that if I am at Red Robin there is an almost 50% chance I am getting chicken tenders there. When I am in the mood to have chicken tenders at home, aka not feeling lazy, I will make these.

Ever since I was a child, I have LOVED baklava. You can literally do anything that you want with such simple ingredients. I have changed the type of nuts in this so many different times! You also can not go wrong at all with the butter that is used in this! Also, the touch of lemon that is in it to balance it all out. Can you say, "YUM."

This was the other dish that we made the first time that we made dinner together. That night Manny also invited some friends over and it was the first time that I got to see into his life. This meal has become a favorite memory of mine, and it is also pretty easy to make!

I have had my InstaPot for years, but really did not use it much. While we were at our friend Ronni's house, we were watching her make dinner and she was using her InstaPot. We watched how quickly she made this recipe, using frozen chicken too! Manny and I bought the cookbook quickly after that, and now this is one of my go-tos when I have no clue what to meal prep. Shout out to Brittany Williams' Instant Loss Cookbook! The original recipe can be found in that book!

During the pandemic, I had the chance to watch a lot of Tasty's videos, and Alvin always made cookies that seemed amazing. Manny decided to make Alvin's Chocolate Chip Cookies, and here is now the recipe for one of our go-to dessert bakes!

I think after watching The Parent Trap one night I was craving chili. The funny thing is that I never was a person to think of wanting chili for lunch or dinner. This quickly became a favorite to make when the weather became cooler! Pair it with cornbread and sheesh.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I stumbled upon this one during the holidays. I asked one of my sisters to pick two cookies to make from a "top 50 cookies you have to try" list. This was one of the cookies that she picked, and the first thing I thought of was "ew, trash." Only because I thought I was not at oatmeal raisin cookie appreciation age. But WHEW I WAS WRONG. These are one of the BEST cookies that I have ever made before! I suggest you give this a try because *chef's kiss.*

One time my friend Jasmine came over and she wanted to bake. I will be completely honest, she was horrible at baking during that time, lol. So, I went to find one of the easiest cookie recipes that I could find!
